No Bail Julian Assange
He is a flight risk. Back to you Brits.
Assange’s WikiLeaks persists in going about its business. I am still thinking about this business notion, a company that makes a business of publishing leaked information. Can information that is leaked from private sources in exchange for compensation ever be considered anything but dirty?

Tuesday, December 7, 2010; 11:06 AMLONDON -- A British judge denied Julian Assange bail on Tuesday after the WikiLeaks founder told a London court he would fight efforts to extradite him to Sweden to face a sex-crimes investigation.
The secret-spilling websites' finances came under increasing pressure as both Visa and Mastercard cut off funding methods, but a WikiLeaks spokesman insisted details from classified U.S. diplomatic cables would keep flowing - regardless of what happened to the group's founder.
"This will not change our operation," Kristinn Hrafnsson told The Associated Press. As if to underline the point, WikiLeaks released a cache of a dozen new diplomatic cables, its first publication in more than 24 hours.
Assange appeared Tuesday afternoon at the City of Westminster Magistrates' Court in London after turning himself in to Scotland Yard earlier in the day. He showed no reaction as Judge Howard Riddle denied him bail and sent him into U.K. custody.”

"And now Interpol has issued a warrant for Assange's arrest on the sex charges!
What are those sex charges, anyway?
Assuming they're the same Swedish sex charges, to hear the Sydney Herald's Asher Moses tell it, they're complaints from two women annoyed that they let Assange seduce them.
The two women who filed the original charges had sex with Assange on successive nights. Both seemed pissed that he charmed them into bed and then never called them again. Both were mortified to learn, after the fact, that he had had sex with them on back-to-back evenings. One was annoyed that, after seducing her in a movie theater, he spent the 45 minutes in the cab riding from a movie to her apartment "tweeting and texting and reading stories about himself." Both said he preferred not to wear a condom. One said he seemed to have an aversion to the word "no." And so on...
At least as the Sydney Herald's Asher Moses tells it, there's not much in the stories about forced sex or "molestation" or politically-driven hit jobs. Mostly it's about two Julian Assange fans annoyed that the rock star Wikileaks founder charmed their pants off and then bolted.
The rape charges have since been dropped. The "molestation" charge is outstanding.
And now Interpol has issued a warrant for Assange's arrest...

For a man of such self-professed moral greatness he seems to have little regard for women beyond being a vessel for his immediate pleasure.
