“L” being leadership, the Democratic Party has permitted Nancy Pelosi to have the status quo making Steny Hoyer second fiddle, and Clyburn is going to play banjo but he gets to sit with fiddle section. Meanwhile, President Obama is sulking and licking wounds somewhere. The email machine is still working and at last check, Michael Moore has run out of film.

"Deal ends Democratic leadership fight

(CNN) -- House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has struck a deal that ends the leadership fight for the number two slot in the new House minority, multiple senior Democratic sources tell CNN.

Under the compromise, current House majority leader Maryland Rep. Steny Hoyer will become the Democratic whip, which will be the number two spot in the new Democratic minority.

South Carolina Rep. James Clyburn agreed to end his bid for that spot and instead hold a new, third-ranking leadership post that will be created for him. In a letter to Democratic colleagues on Saturday, Pelosi said she plans to designate him "Assistant Leader."”

There may be some good apples in the Democratic Party but every time you put your hand in the barrel, you come out with rotten apples.

It's too earlier to tell and negative prophesying is best left to the entrenched partisans who can't think outside the confines of Party agendas. The rest of us need to encourage  direct and meaningful dialogue that aspires to a mutually successful end.

Well, I am no longer patient, in fact, I am the patient without patience. I want revenge. Seeking revenge is good therapy.

The game doesn't start until January.  I guess taking your revenge out on a lame duck session will be o.k. Try to have it out of your system by Thanksgiving. :-)
