I had easily dismissed the very idea that Barack Obama could even harbor racist tendecies given his diverse background and upbringing. That all came to an end when I read his memoirs and learned of his racist views from the man himself. Overlooking this ugly facet of Obama is a shame for the American voter looking for any hope of an end to the horrific tide of hatred and violence that racism has unleashed on our country for centuries - and this is merely one concerning facet of this multi-faceted man.
