Noida MMS Scandal - MBA student circulates striptease MMS

NOIDA MMS Scandal, these were the same headlines that captured national headlines about five year back when mobile phones and value added services like MMS were just gaining a foothold in India.
Things have come a full circle and another MMS scandal has come to light in NOIDA where in the boyfriend circulated the strip tease MMS of his girl friend to her mailing list, as he had access to her e mail account.
In a case of Art imitating life a central character in a recent block buster Movie Dev D, was built around the trouble a girl goes through after being caught in an MMS scandle. Five years back media (Television) was not so super charged and hyper active, but in todays fight for eyeballs hopefully the television media will maintain restraint.
It is also being reported in some section of press that there is a huge demand of intimate videos of real people to fuel the porn industry. As per media reports porn websites pay a huge amount for such videos and as the sites never come in the mainstream this business goes on unnoticed till such time a known person actually views those clips.
So far there is no news of any police action as they are waiting for a complaint to be filed. As per the laws of the land the person circulating such clips can face strict action, as this is a cognizable offence under Indian Penal Code.
Five years after a sex clip made and circulated by a Delhi school student made news, a similar incident has been reported from a business school in Noida. A student has sent out a video of his 23-year old girlfriend doing a striptease for him, to some fellow students at the management school. This reportedly happened after the woman refused to marry him. The woman studies at the same institution. The story was first reported by Mid Day. It said the two students were probably classmates. The man, who apparently knew the password of the woman’s email ID, logged in to her mail and sent the video to some people on her contact list.
Mid Day Broke this particular scandal.
Noida B-school stands by girl, plans inquiry into e-mail sleaze
A DAY after MiD DAY broke the news of a Noida MBA student leaking the video of his college mate-cum-girlfriend doing a striptease for him, the institute authorities moved in quickly to identify and counsel the 23-year-old girl as well as speak to the boy.
Sources in the B-school also said the management was planning to hold an inquiry into how the sex clip was sent to a number of people from the girl's e-mail.
A campus sex video scandal has come back to haunt the country again after the last one at a south Delhi school in 2004 shocked the country and inspired parts of the recent Anurag Kashyap movie Dev D.

Thankfully the Electronic Media is not playing this clip and have learned from the Aarushi murder case, wherein most of the electronic news channels in India were conducting a media trial and linking the parents with the Murder. Tonight all the Media are busy reviewing Delhi 6 the latest blockbuster releasing tomorrow. Will need to look at the headlines of the newspapers tomorrow to see how does the print media behave.
Further details are emerging that the Business School management has taken control of the situation and are councelling the girl and heloing her to concentrate on the studies. Still no reports of any legal action so far.
As far as the net goes it is the most searched item on google tonight in India and 43% of all the search volumes are coming from Delhi and Noida put together.

Good post. The incident is shocking. It also indicates sexual liberation of conservative India. As there are more and more such cases coming to fore. The boy has clearly cheated on the girl by posting their intimate video. he should be penalized for doing this. Thanks for posting it.

I think one needs to be careful of the deeds that one does, but I think every one deserves a second chance. She has not committed a crime to be run down, it is a mistake and the story is presented here so that we can be more aware of our actions and consequences.

To your question "why she did this, despite of knowing that he is a bad guy" I think that is none of your business but as far as I know they were in a relationship, so they were having fun and so she must have trusted the guy and thus allowed him. What is wrong in making a video for personal entertainment, you do not have a right to go into anyone's bedroom. Does it matter to you if your neighbour is making such a video. It only matters when it gets public, so the act of it getting public matters, now who did this act here in this case, THE MAN.
It is so simple to know the victim and the culprit, but you all are confusing the two

i com pletely agree wid aditi.j...and people like vijay who are blaming the girl..r just bloody malechauvinists...who have problems with the girl doing the video but have no problem in watching it..people like you are so sick that they all have one conclusion to all the problem that it was the girls fault because men are basically dogs so its expected from them but the woman should take care of everything.right vijay like people?

Girl is the main culprit. Should have thought what she is doing to her parent's izzat before doing any such thing. Leave aside doing it in front of a camera. Doesn't she love her parents. And parents should have imbibed the right values in her. In case they did then she deserves to be black faced. If they had been intimate in past...then it sould had been a secret with maturity even though they broken their relations afterwards.. Boy took un-necessary advantage of girl...and the girl did not smell it cleverly beforhand.
As boy started circulating MMS to the whole world.. so..boy did a shaeful and criminal act.. In my view boy started defaming girl in public..so he is responsible for this wrong act.
In fact, another shamful thing heard is his dad is also defending the boy and threatning the girl on phone.. which is in fact dead shame for such parents...
