Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, Europes longest serving British Monarch, helped herself to a sumptious serving of Turkey in her praise and support of Turkey's committment to joining the EU. Turkey a Muslim moderate country joining the European Union would be a first in establishing relations in a troubled middle eastern region. Greece's "Spanakopita Political Minotaurs" historically "LockHorns" with Turkey may well have to baste in Turkeys juices if the European Union accepts Turkey into the fold.
France on the other hand, has shown "Rich Creamery Sauciness" in the media opposing such a "Melding of Political European Cuisines" lambasting the British Monarch's support of what seems to be a "Non Pork Eating Islamic country " as part of the EU.
Famed "Roast Pork au Pomme" Blouse and Cheese Eating Afficiando French Prime Minister Francois Fillon has "Dished repeatedly again " we never want Turkey in the EU, Turkey does not belong to Europe".
Perhaps the Political Chefs of Greece and France do not realise Turkey's importance in the World's Dining Room Table as a main Centrepiece. A "Centerpiece" in which Western Nations will have a buffer between them and the hostile middle eastern side dishes in which Western Nations can place their warring dinnerware in the event Western Nations and unbending Middle Eastern Nations start a "Food Fight" in which the World may have to join in one day, with no "Just Desserts" for no one.
In ending, "Just Food for Thought !"
ANKARA, Turkey -- Queen Elizabeth II praised Turkey's role as a bridge between the West and the Islamic world on Tuesday during her first visit to the predominantly Muslim country in 37 years.
"For us, Turkey is as important now as it has ever been," the British monarch said at a state banquet. "Turkey is uniquely positioned as a bridge between East and West at a crucial time for the European Union and the world in general."
Wearing a tiara and dressed in a white gown decorated with beads, the queen said Turkey is "playing a key role in promoting peace, political stability and economic development in some of the world's most unsettled areas."
She referred to the Alliance of Civilizations initiative, a U.N.-backed project - co-sponsored by Turkey and Spain - aiming to increase dialogue between Western and non-Western cultures and to address the causes of conflict between them.

Barry: I love the photo! But how did you make her look so young? Perhaps its all that cooking of the turkey: 'allow one hour per pound of turkey'. I personally want Turkey to join the EU since it would balance out the notion that Europe is a christian country.
