North Forest High School in Houston, Texas was put on lockdown for three hours on September 25, 2009 after reports that three to four males had arrived on campus armed with guns. Witnesses claim that they saw three to four armed males drive toward North Forest High School in a white truck. There were further reports that shots had been fired.

Police later confirmed that shots had been fired and stated that there were no injuries. They would not say how many shots had been fired and only added that the incident happened near the school but not on the North Forest High School campus. Police have arrested three people in the incident and are searching for a fourth.

One or two of the men reportedly walked onto the school’s campus, and police took one of the males into custody. FOX News has not confirmed those reports.

MyFOXHouston has learned that North Forest Independent School District cops and the Houston Police Department are at the school and may be searching for a suspect in the shootings.

Police believe that at least one suspect fired an AK-47 at a number of different locations, MyFOXHouston said.
