Ten Students Had to be Taken to Hospital From North High School in Torrance California When Portable Cooking Equipment Exploded
Four of the teenagers were seriously hurt when the explosion occurred around 12:46pm according to the Daily Breeze.
It is not known what caused the explosion, but traffic had to be blocked at the intersection of 182nd Street and Prairie Avenue as about 35 emergency personnel responded to the scene.
The injured students were taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital, County Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and Torrance Memorial Medical Center.
