War is For the Helpless

The emptiness in you
Aimed the mindless missile

The threat by North Korea continues to increase, with its nuclear arsenal. This is further exacerbated by the drastic global environmental changes and the sinking global economy. Now combine that with the dire Mayan predictions for 2012. I don't know what will happen but all signs point to an impending Depression and War.

...The North "will never give up its nuclear deterrent ... and will further strengthen it" as long as Washington remains hostile, Pyongyang's main Rodong Sinmun newspaper said.

If not Korea, it will be another country. Common sense tells us that one day everybody will have the knowledge of atomic destruction. I will go as far as saying that one day in our very lifetime, we will see nuclear weapons used once again.

What is the solution? For starters, the set of rules that countries have been using are no longer applicable. Doing the same thing over and over again, with the same results - that's the definition of insanity. We have outgrown the systems that have been used for centuries. It needs to be modified for modern times or WE NEED A NEW PARADIGM shift altogether. In order to survive, we need to “change our minds”. We have become so used to aggression, violence and combat as commonplace that most don’t even know how to get past this without manipulation, military, and secret ops. I say there is another way. I say lay down the weapons and give peace a chance.

We read alarming reports of threat and destruction in the news, yet there is hardly anything on how we can avoid a catastrophe. That in itself is very revealing.

I like your poem you wrote - I hope that countries adhere to it, but the quest for world domination rarely lets anyone step aside I fear.
