North Korea threatens Nuclear 'Fire Shower' if attacked
The political tension with the North Korean nuclear missile tests fails to die down. North Korea defied UN Security council and carried out these tests and now have warned that they could expand their nuclear arsenal further.
More missile test capable of carrying nuclear arsenal are reported to be being readied for testing. These are short to medium range missiles.
Cross-border relations have soured since a conservative government took office in Seoul in February last year with a firmer policy towards the North.
And international tensions have grown since Pyongyang's long-range rocket launch in early April and its nuclear test in late May.
North Korea today threatened to retaliate with a nuclear "fire shower" if it is attacked by the US and warned it would expand its nuclear arsenal, a month after it carried out a controlled nuclear explosion in defiance of the UN security council.
The regime used the 59th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean war to step up its threats against the US, whose navy is tracking a North Korean vessel off the Chinese coast that is suspected of carrying weapons.
Earlier this month the UN banned all weapons exports from North Korea in response to the May 25 nuclear test, its second in three years.
The latest warning came as speculation mounted that Pyongyang is preparing to test launch short- and medium-range missiles.
North Korea has banned ships from the waters off its east coast until July 10 for "military exercises", but South Korean and US intelligence officials do not believe the tests will involve a long-range Taepodong-2 missile, which is theoretically capable of reaching Hawaii.

And so why is Obama cutting the missile defense shield budget? "Destabilizing"?

Because they do not work nor protect, they just give the people the illusion they do protect them.
Further it is a cover up program to arm and poses a direct threat to China, Russia and others. It is not what you want should you want peace.
I suppose you would not mind having a loaded gun pointed at your self. After all it is just self defence in case you may want to point a loaded gun at me one day. The good old Cowboy games.

Obama may really show his lack of balls here. I am afraid ...very AFRAID..
I BET HE IS SMOKING THOSE CIGARETTES NOW! A senator who did not have
the nerve to vote in the senate? Oh, yes he voted a neutral..He never managed a business? What the hell is this country doing with him leading us at this crucial time?
Oh, yeah. He is black. He can do anything because he was a community organizer and
ran around with that old hate speech Preacher and a terrorist. Maybe he is asking Bill
Ayers to help him decide what to do?
Those beautiful speeches with a teleprompter will not be there for him at 3 AM.
Maybe he will call Hilary and she will call Bill.
I know this is not funny....THIS IS BAD NEWS...he has been bad news from the
beginning...His decorum don't look so good now. We need a warrior for a President.

Yep okay nuke north Korea?
At present you have no idea what Obama's thought on this issues are, USA certainly can not afford a war, the last president dilapidated the funds and left US in a very bad state due to being a so called Warrior President. Yes this is damn serious and it also relates to Bush's administration and its handling of north Korea.
With out enough US$ this problem can not be remedied by force but only clever minds and clever thinking. please go back to your drawing board in your air raid shelter and rethink on the problem.

North Korea won't be nuking anyone and America won't be invading the north. No one in their right mind wants North Korea. The Chinese don't want it, the Japanese don't want it! The Russians have no interest. Even the South Koreans are beginning to realise that a "united Korea" would bankrupt South Korea. We just have to look at the problems of a united Germany, and compared to South Korea, its a very rich nation.
America can't afford another war, anywhere on globe, Bush emptied the coffers and issued vast IOU's to the Chinese. Trillions spent in Iraq and little to show for it.
Even if North Korea invaded the south, I doubt any nukes would be involved, either way.
North Korea has an army of one million but each soldier has only one clip of bullets, they can't afford to issue more. North Korea just does not have the resources to invade the south.
What is worrying is if North Korea starts selling nuke technology to other criminal nations, like Sudan, in return for oil.
