According to FOX News this morning, the Kam Nang, the North Korean ship suspected of carrying illegal weapons has turned around to head back to North Korea.

This, apparently comes on the heels of the US threatening to board the ship if it comes into the USS Lassen's area of responsibility.

Yesterday the US announced sharper sanctions against North Korea, if it persists with its nuclear strategy.

The US Treasury Department has already announced freezing of some North Korean accounts.

It is not know what persuaded the Kam Nang to turn around. The USS Lassen, a destroyer is shadowing the North Korean ship.

North Korean ship Kam Nang has turned around and is headed back in the direction it came from, after being tracked for more than a week by American Navy vessels on suspicion of carrying illegal weapon
