CEBU CITY -- A Norwegian was stabbed to death Monday morning after he allegedly held hostage four persons inside his house since Saturday night.

Nils Frode Aksnes Steen, 51, died of multiple stab wounds at the Eversley Child’s Sanitarium in Mandaue City.

Arrested were Nisil Mate Ceriales, 25; Cheril Mate Nocete, 38; and a 16-year-old girl. They said they were held hostage by the foreigner in his rented house in Grantville Subdivision in Barangay Jugan, Consolacion.

Ceriales said Steen had a gun and threatened to kill them if any of them tried to get out of the house.

He also allegedly ordered the 16-year-old girl to undress and have sex with Ceriales, her cousin, in front of him.

I gather he was one of the obnoxious sex tourist crowd from Norway, Mostly sailors and fishermen that have short term seafaring contracts and holiday down here in the Philippines.

They get drunk out of their minds and wander the bikini bars such as Cebu Cities sleazy Viking club seeing how many prostitutes they can bed in one night. They even get married and cheat on their wives and drink beer and spirits all day long from breakfast to supper.

Then they do something really crazy such as this Nils guy whilst on a bender, I can just image the scenario. However this time this guy ran out of luck and ended up on a marble slab.

Its illegal for a foreigner here to have a gun and this stupid idiot and low life should not been allowed a license in any case. I feel no sorrow for Nils and its low life like him dregs of stagnant muck that give Filipino's bad opinion of foreigners living in their country. I hope this guy went to hell!

Further report from Cebu.

In the chill of an early morning, two women ran out of a house, stark naked and desperate for help.

Neighbors loaned them clothes.

A 16-year-old girl later admitted to police that she stabbed to death a Norwegian national, whose house they had just escaped.

Police are looking closely into the death of 51-year-old Nils Frode Steen Aksnes, who died early Monday after he was stabbed by one of four persons, who claimed they were taken hostage by the foreigner inside his house in Grantville Subdivision, Consolacion town, north Cebu.

Aksnes was living with his nine-year-old daughter in the subdivision.

He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Eversley Childs Sanitarium and Hospital in Mandaue City.

This monster has many previous sentences in Norway for brutal rapes!

We cheer his death!

Sorry from Norway, we are ashamed of our inbreed misfits! Not all of us are monsters like this piece of shit.

We are truly happy that this man is dead now.

Unfortunately in Norway we don't release the names of our sick sex offenders, so they can freely continue after their release.

On behalf of 99,9% of norwegians, I am ashamed of being norwegian today. The last 0,1% is our politicians that allow this f"#¤ shit to settle down anywhere and continue to rape an violate people. They don't give a shit and don't want a rapist to go to jail for more than a few months....

But the monster is now gone. May he rot!

I am so sorry that some of my countrymen behave as  beasts when they are visiting you.
All my sympathy and my thoughts go to those people who had to experience this monster of a Norwegian.
I do hope with all my heart that they will be  taken good care of and that the memories of this will let go

otherwise you can remove all such beast from the earth's surface- I won`t cry

As Norwegian and a former resident in the Philippines for 9 years way back

in the 60's-70's, I wish to express my sympathy to those that have suffered at

the hands of this misfit.

This animal was on the run from the police in Norway.

Finally he got his punishment. I hope he rot in hell!

Now it seems that 3 children lost their father in a robbery attempt.

You should know that this unfortunately often is the outcome of a case like this.

You should all as a respect for the mans family be careful and wait for the final result before you make all this terrible remarks.

May the poor man rest in peace...

Odin2 I know of this man and what I have seen and know about him is is no angel. I know the crowd he use to hang around with, most of them frequent the Viking Bikini bar and mess around with the GRO,s in Cebu.

This is not a regular family man, he had messed up his relationship with his wife for getting drunk and womanizing she had took him to the cleaners (good on her). He was only looking after one child the other two are here in Dumaguete City with I believe with relatives or the mother?

He had a unlicensed gun and seemingly inviting unsavory people into his house as someone or more seeming were smoking Shabu. If that's the case it would seem this father was not very protective to his beloved 9 year old daughter.

I really do not think this was a robbery attempted as the people concerned stayed put to the police arrived. I suspect that Nils maybe a Pedophile as there was an under age girl seem escaping nude from the house after the stabbing took place.

norge jente!

its  not a robbery!its just a self defence of the poor 16years old filipina.

Why is everyone running  into judgement? Is the story and circumstances NOT sounding FUNNY in your ears? Have you ever been to the Philipines? If I were you, I would wait for the final Police investigation result because you might be bitting your tongue, when you learn that the so-called victims are indicted for murders.

There are many good Philipinos, so are there really wierd ones. I am here in Cebu with my friend - a European - in case you are wondering! And I am not on a sex tour either. My wife and I have both witnessed all sorts of swindling - from taxi drivers to muggers, or snatchers as they are popular called here.

The the dead Norwegian might have asked for many troubles, but stop being judgmental I personally do not believe any of the so-called victims are really what they say they are! THE TRUTH SHALL ALWAYS PREVAIL - NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES!

I am glad you have faith in the police and legal system here as there are many cases unsolved that I know about going back to 9 years ago, concerning mysterious deaths of foreigners.  I have witnessed many crimes and seen many a foreigner get ripped off, in fact I could write a book about it all.

I am also glad your living a moral life and not getting muddled with the girlie bar crowd. There are many of us living on the straight and narrow path here in the Philippines. But Nils was not following that path and here on these threads people have commented who know him. I myself have met him and know of him.  Yes the truth may come out the guy that's running the police investigation Ricardo Ermac, is a sharp cookie, but already there has been a problem of bad investigation by his team and SOCO is complaining about the crime scene being un-polluted and items being taken away that should have been left at the crime scene.

Yes it does sound funny and its also funny that all those concerned stayed till the police arrived that also sounds funny if there is other complications such as robbery. Why broadcast the event to all and sundry? Possibly someone else is involved that did run from the scene of the crime. Could it be the sixteen year old confessed to stabbing to cover for someone else?

Why did the guy stay that had the shabu paraphernalia?

Actually the story that being told is so bizarre that it is actually the truth, such things are possible in the Philippines. But we will see as time passes by and more information creeps out to the local media. We however may never know the real truth.
