The 2011 General Election Poster Campaign:
Here in Ireland for the duration of an election campaign multiple posters are attached to every possible piece of street furniture. In the past I have noticed that some of the smaller parties are very lazy about removing their posters when the campaign is over and I find this to be really annoying.
I am not sure that they are effective but they are part of Irish life every time there is an election or a referendum.
