Every so often I, like many, find myself discouraged, and battle weary. ‘Why,’ I ask, ‘do I bother fighting this political war on a daily basis?’ It is on those dark days, when I believe we conservatives are fighting a losing war, that I dig deep and seek inspiration. We have to keep fighting in order to pass on to our children and our grandchildren some semblence of a free country that has liberated at least six countries from despotism just since World War II.  We have to keep fighting to stop the foolish policies of modern liberalism, which appeal to ignorant people and to losers who have to blame someone, from destroying our country.  We have to keep fighting, not only in memory of Ronald Reagan, but to honor the sacrifices of our Founding Fathers and of every American soldier who shed blood in the cause of liberty.
