This is common practice in the whole world that whenever the rulers fail to protect their citizens they leave the power, but Pakistan is a strange country. Thousands of people have either killed in jets and gunship helicopters bombings or terrorist attacks, but the rulers have still been enjoying the life. They have still been doing politics.

Today the terrorists again struck in Peshawar, the capital of NWFP killing at least 13 people including women and children. The situation is still critical as there are reports of more attacks in the near future. But all the security agencies have been providing protection to the rulers and left the people on the mercy of terrorists.

"Eleven persons were killed and many hurt in two consecutive suicide attacks at investigation cell of CIA police station in cantonment area.

Interior Minister Rehman Malik has directed the IG NWFP to submit the report of the incident whereas bomb disposal squad sources said 50 kg explosive material was used in the blast.

According to reports, a person riding on a motorbike with a woman reached at the gate of the police station. When security official tried to stop the burqa clad woman, she detonated herself. Exchange of fire also took place between security personnel and motor biker. Another suicide bomber blew up an explosive laden car right after the first blast.

Official sources said 11 persons were killed in the attacks; however, hospital sources quoted the death toll 14. Several persons including children sustained injuries in the incident

CCPO Peshawar Liaquat Ali said apparently two suicide blasts carried out at the site; however, we are seeking opinion of bomb disposal squad.

The blasts severely damaged the building of police station and destroyed many vehicles. The injured including many prisoners have been rushed to hospital.

Interior minister Rehman Malik, MQM chief Altaf Hussain , leader of ANP Zahid Khan and other political leaders have strongly condemned the blast."
