Leah Yeager has been designated as the Investigator-in-Charge of the incident, but the NTSB has not released any findings on the crash yet, despite some media reports stating they have.

At this time there is a temporary flight restriction in place, established by the FAA, encompassing a 7.4 km radius.

According to the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, the TFR is expected to be lifted quickly as the area is located within Class C controlled airspace near Austin-Bergstrom International airport.
