NZ students offer reward for Rice's arrest

Yeah, par for the course, when some certainly unclear on the concept, spend their days staring at their navel in a drug induced daze thinking up things to talk about, either which MacDonalds Burger is best, or whether Condoleezza Rice is a side dish condiment from San Francisco or George Bush's Mass Baby Killer.

NZ students offer reward for Rice's arrest
WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) —
New Zealand students protesting the Iraq war offered a reward to anyone who carries out a citizen’s arrest of Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice during her visit to the country Friday.
The Auckland University Students’ Association is seeking Rice’s arrest for her role in “overseeing the illegal invasion and continued occupation” of Iraq, Association President David Do said.
The group is offering a $3,700 reward. Rice is making her first trip to New Zealand after attending a Southeast Asian security forum in Singapore.
She is scheduled to arrive from Australia late Friday and fly out early Sunday. Rice, asked about the protest at a news conference Friday with the Australian foreign minister in Perth, Australia, said: “Protests are a part of the Democratic society and student protests are particularly a long honored tradition in democratic society.
I can only say that the United States has done everything that it can to end this war on terror, to live up to our international and national laws and obligations.”

Thanks Rhonda, certainly shows some have way too much time on their hands, and these are to be New Zealands future leaders? Pretty scary sh*t if you ask me.

Barry,
I disagree. This kind of protest brings quite a high profile. You wouldn't have posted this here if that group of students stood there with signs at her hotel. It wouldn't even have made the local news in New Zealand! This story is now around the globe. Not bad tactics I'd say! Pretty shrewd actually. And you have played your part so well.
As to Ms. Rice. She actually should be arrested, and only the future will tell if her and the rest of that criminal lot will be brought to the justice they so richly deserve.

It is scary, Barry! To even suggest something like this is dangerous! Let's hope the AUSA realizes it too!

Kiddies at play. Hopefully, some of them will get past this stage, grow up, get a job, and discover that the world is a far more complicated place than they yet understand.

Barry Artiste, I like this story. It's good stuff. Prisoners in Cuba would thank the NZ students, no doubt. Are they still being tortured, do you know?

I wouldn't call it a reward, I would call it a bounty, wanted poster.

You really think they were 'high'? Think Rice answered their 'symbolic' protest quite well.
at 10:16 on July 27th, 2008
Most assuredly they were high Rene, and Looney too, while they are at it, why not put a reward out for the head for a postal clerk, or secretary, by their Tofu logic they are all complicit as employees of the Bush government
