Kinematics Research Munitons Plant Explosion in Oakland, Tennessee

An explosion at a the Kinematics Research munitions plant in Oakland, TN sent emergency crews scrambling. At least one person is apparently trapped in the Kinematics Research building; ammunition is still detonating as of this post.

The initial cause of the blast is unclear, and triggered a series of smaller explosions. Kinematics Research makes bullets for pistols and rifles.

First responders were sent to Kinematics Research on Bowers Road in Oakland around 1:45pm. Personnel was evacuated from the plant, and authorities on the scene have not confirmed any injuries; however, one employee is still unaccounted for.
