With President Obama about to enter the twilight zone in being the first Black American to be elected President and riding on the coattails of Rev. Kings I Have a Dream...things just don't seem that rosey. He said:  I've been to the mountaintop. And I don't mind. Like anybody, I would like to live a long life. Longevity has its place. But I'm not concerned about that now. I just want to do God's will. And He's allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I've looked over. And I've seen the promised land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised land. And I'm happy, tonight. I'm not worried about anything. I'm not fearing any man. Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord.


He's not worried? And how many years did it take us to find Barack?  Well that speech was given in 1968....so you figure the math.


In 1963 MLK spoke to Obama? It sure looks that way to me...

When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. (This must be the 700b bailout )+( Obama's new 700b)= the Promised Land?

It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. ( I think MLK was not right...it is much worse for everyone)

Then Barak went along with the 700b bailout to the banks....as he now chatters about passing another 700b bailout now for mainstreet.

    But 1400 billion is not enough....infact the news is The Meltdown Is Just Beginning.


    Malls from Michigan to Georgia are entering foreclosure, commercial victims of the same events poisoning the housing market.


    Hotels in Tucson, Ariz., and Hilton Head, S.C., also are about to default on their mortgages.


    That pace is expected to quicken. The number of late payments and defaults will double, if not triple, by the end of next year, according to analysts from Fitch Ratings Ltd., which evaluates companies' credit.


    "We're probably in the first inning of the commercial mortgage problem," said Scott Tross, a real estate lawyer with Herrick Feinstein in New Jersey.


    That's bad news for more than just property owners. When businesses go dark, employees lose jobs. Towns lose tax revenue. School budgets and social services feel the pinch.


    Companies have survived plenty of downturns, but economists see this one playing out like never before. In the past, when businesses hit rough patches, owners negotiated with banks or refinanced their loans

    One hope was that the U.S. would use some of the $700 billion financial bailout to buy shaky investments from banks and insurance companies. That was the original plan. But Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson has issued a stunning turnabout, saying the U.S. no longer planned to buy troubled securities. For those watching the wave of commercial defaults about to crest, the announcement was poorly received.

    "He's created havoc in the marketplace by changing the rules," Rosen said. "It was the stupidest statement on Earth."

    The Securities and Exchange Commission is considering another option that might ease the crisis, one that would change accounting rules so banks don't have to declare huge losses whenever the market declines.

    But the only surefire remedy is for the economy to stabilize, for businesses to start expanding and for investors to trust the market again. Until then, Tross said, "There's going to be a lot of pain going forward."


    This will be The Great Depression Part II. .. What really makes this a dead beat event is that they knew this all along. Its been a stack of lies back to Reagan with his over 2,000 bank closures..the most bank closures than any sitting President....yet it was the Reagan Revolution....


    Barack is going to bring the Promised Land..?  He is following the same Clinton Crew that would have been behind Hilllary if she was the President... The only difference is they have Paul Volcker leading the Economic Advisors...My question is if he is the magic bullet, where in the tar nation has he been the past 8 years? Where was he in telling Bill Clinton not to support the repeal of the Glass Seagull Provision that assured America would not fall into a Depression, as it did in the 1930's. Instead he was the guy giving Ron Reagan all his advice that gave us the over 2,000 bank closures in US history. Paul Volker was chairman of the Federal Reserve Board in the l980s during the Reagan era. He played a central role in implementing the first stage of financial deregulation, which was conducive to mass bankruptcies, mergers and acquisitions, leading up to the 1987 financial crisis.

    Hey but we know one of the main reason people are not going to support the Stock Market..is .knowing that terrorists get their money from it. Enron was one of those predators who lied their way across the boards. Sanford I Weills the guy who put together Citigroup had his hands all over WorldCom and Enron as they both imploded.....to the point that they needed to devise 911 to mass murder thousands of Americans in order to wage a fake war with the idea it will bring Americans together to save their skin from all the lies they have been spewing across the heartland of America and its Fundamentalist Financial Christians.


    But first they needed to ransack and dupe people with threats of Anthrax to pass the 700 billion Big Banks Bailout....Yep the money is going to Citigroup and Travellers that Sanford I.Weills created....the very guys who had all the information to why they needed CIA Poppy Bush to begin putting together a terrorists attack on the USA while the USA was having exercises to prevent such an occurance.. Just mix the stuff up and plant the charges and no one will know or believe the difference. The Fench CIA knows all about the crap the USA did in using binLadin as their patsy guy.... And we wonder why the French did not support the Coalition....They knew, and they knew, and they knew.


    Now they are trying to save the house of cards by using superglue on the edges...But the wind will just smack and scatter it away like debris from the falling towers did on September 11th.

    Volker is another way of playing Polker and Obama in my opinion needs to stear clear of him and base our monetary system on Energy. I am a firm believer of Geothermal Energy.

    That depends on if you are a gambler with the Stock Market. Myself I stay out of the Stock Market...because how can it be trusted? I would be happy if it was unplugged and faded away. People put so much faith and fact on the stock market instead of themselves and their immediate strength that they end up losing everything they had....because of some engineered stock market virus that has come upon the books. Frankly who are they to tell us it is bad? They have been lying about this going back to Ron Reagan. GW Bush admits it today.

    Given all the lies, and the big failures such as Worldcom and Enron, and now the banks themselves because they blame it on risky loans....they knew the lie they were perpetuating. People have hopes to open business toward inroads to markets, but the people who give the loans give it to them so they fail. It is meant to be that way. This way they won't try it again. The big boys have the money and they are not about to let outsiders take their turf. Though they say it will hurt the banks....it doesn't because they are insured...and they have their pals and CEO's who have accumlated enough wealth to keep things going buying time and spreading more of their bs in the information circles that circles back to kep them in power. They call it stolen trust...and knocking out the competition. That's why they live on War. and the military muscle to assure their stake hold.

    They do not want to see people be successful because it makes them unsuccessful.. It is them or us. You are either with us or against us. It's pretty clear what is going on. And they don't care. We either stand in line to their indoctrination or get booted out...which literally means the people suffer...That is the truth.

    I say close the Stock Market down. It has never done anything for me. Then perhaps people will start treating people as people to trust each other with handshakes again, and committment instead of looking into the crystal ball known as the Stock Market which has made everyone greedy demons...hell bent on committing terror because they don't get their own way.

    It was a tough piece to write....I wanted to capture the connection to Rev. King and the Obama theme, while showing really Obama is moving backwards instead of forward on choosing the right guy in the economic slot. They still rely on a system that can't work because we have no footing or base to format it upon. Clearly I believe it is Energy and Green Energy that should be recognized as the blueprint in estblishing the new economy, establishing new bank procedures which I believe would include reenacting the Glass-Seagull Act. This would usher in confidence in a system. The Geothermal Plants with people supporting them and getting the money in their pockets is better than having the CEO get it. All the people should have that wealth, not greedy CEO's who bankrupt the system

    Yes, i also see green energy as the blueprint for a sustainable society. Geothermal Plants are a good possibility, sun, wind and waterpower also.

    I am glad that perhaps we can leave behind most of the racial bickering that we have had in the last fifty years.  Yes even after the Civil Rights Movement.

    A half Black President has been elected.  No doubt it was a proud day for the 93% of blacks that voted for Barack Obama.  But the question is: Who really chose Barack and was able to move him even ahead of Hillary who at one point everyone thought would be the Democratic choice?

    The answer is: He was picked by rich Liberal Jews for whatever reason.

    May I ask what is racists in Alfonso's comment? Is it the word Jew? Rich or Liberal that is racist? Is it still racists if it said Poor Liberal Jews? or Poor Conservative Jews? All these words I have seen are not racist in orgin, but because you put them together they are racists? I find that quite interesting. Maybe a bit sensitive about the topic?

    BTW, I am working on it.

    No one speaks about the Liberal Catholics, or African-Americans or Protestants,etc. All are Americans, regardless of their affiliations. If you "blame" or emphasize that it was the JEWS that did it. then you separate them from all the other Americans as different. They are no different then any other American. When JEWS are separated out it generally is to give a sense that they are different or are perpetrators of unusual power and influence. This is just hogwash. It has no place anywhere, especially in American politics. It may be a particular person is Jewish but that is as far as you can take it without it being racist.

    I see. But Liberal Catholics or African Americans don't have the power and money like the Jewish lobby right? So couldn't it be said that the word Rich is the racist word here? Afterall if the Liberal Catholics had more power and money than the Jewish Lobby, then the Rich Liberal Catholics would be a racist comment too right?

    I don't want to dispute with you that it is racists, I just wonder and think it is racists is because of the power control of wealth is more closely held by the Jewish Lobby.

    All I can say is if you use  Ahram as an example to support  Jewish influence the SPIN has won. It is their job to make connections between Jews and power. The whole idea is to discredit Jews as interfering, wretched human beings.
    The facts are that Jews don't have any more influence then other groups in America or elsewhere. They just are better at organizing themselves when the need arises.

    I forgot to disclose the reason I brought up the Ahram link is because of what Sharon said. That being Israel controls America. Most Americans don't like what he said.. or what Netinyahoo said after the 911 attacks... Perhaps some Jews give other Jews a bad name?
