Obama agrees, Russia belongs in the WTO

In short, there are 153 members at present, so why not add Russia? Russians have been stunted from the participation in the WTO, and it isn’t clear why. Would the Russians not play by the rules? Would their contributions be too small?
Watching the press conference, I just can’t get past the towering Obama and the 5’ 4” Medevdev. How tall is Putin? Some say 5’ 5”. The Russian leaders are shrinking, and maybe that’s why they have an attitude.

Unsure if he's from the 'Silvio Berlusconi' school of footwear though, or the more extreme Kim Jong shoe-school, the one where you're 5ft 3, have a height complex and resort to wearing elaborate 4-inch elevator shoes to compensate.”

LOL! Undoubtedly severe cases of vitamin D deficiency during early childhood combined with FAS (note the smaller than average noggins) that is rampant in the former USSR.

You know, as long as it is dipped in honey, even very poor taste can be tolerated and by far this was not the worst thing ever said about either of them :
At 5ft 2in, (I've also heard 5'4") Medvedev is the same height as Napoleon, leading Russian bloggers to dub him the 'nano-President'- Spin doctors have advised him to take a step forward when he is being photographed in a group. IMHO, if he is sensitive about his height, he needs to grow up!
What I would call bad taste, is the reporter who asked the palace spokesperson if Monaco's Prince Albert and his fiancée, who just announced their engagement, had a bun in the oven - finally producing a legitimate heir! That and calling the 52 yr old Albert a playboy.
Speaking of tainted, if it is too hot in Lima maybe JVDS would like to cool his heels in the Exclusion Zone around Chernobyl - his mother claims he loves animals and his grandma; there are 10,000 people ages 60 to 90 who have returned to their homes. It is so lush with wildlife and greenery that in 2007 the Ukrainian government designated it a wildlife sanctuary, the largest in Europe.
Kidding aside, Obama's recommend doesn't surprise me, aside from their differences in height, the two men are quite similar in other ways.
