Obama and Catholic Child Molestation.
Forget about the Catholic Fascist Action of World War 2 and how the Church tried to use Franco, Mussolini, and Hitler to re-institute The Dark Ages. And don’t even mention the Inquisitions or the Crusades. Just look at the recent position that the Church has taken with regard abortion and President elect Obama. They claim to worry about Mr. Obama’s commitment to the Freedom of Choice Act. Why should this worry us? You have to ask the question of motive here, considering the history that the priesthood has had with children.
The Freedom of Choice Act, which Obama staunchly supports, seems as though it has the potential of limiting the power of such anti abortion beach-heads as parental notification and informed consent as well as the ban on partial birth abortion. These acts are credited with dramatically reducing the number of yearly abortions in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />America over the course of roughly a decade.
It is a crying shame that we need to ask the question of motive with regard to the number of children that the Catholic Church would like to see coming into their churches. Does more babies mean more victims of abuse? This question is rhetoric, but it is meant to prove a point. The upper hierarchy of the Church is undeniably implicit in allowing the cover-up and the continual molestation of children under their care for what has been proven to be decades. Now they want us to believe they care about abortion? Come on…
There are some points in the Bible about what is called “Freeness of Speech”. They regard the conscience of a person who sins as not letting him make hypocritical attempts at correcting someone else who sins. But what am I thinking? Since when did the Catholic Church care what the Bible says anyway. They used to burn bibles and those who had them at the stake until they couldn’t get away with that anymore.
Excuse the flippant use of sarcasm. Religious hypocrisy is the most disgusting of all kinds.
