It's painfully obvious that fans of Obama are not  willing to take on the challenge of demonstrating and verifying that FOX newscasters (we're not talking here about personalities and commentators such as Glen Beck--we're talking about newscasters) are any more biased than the newscasters on CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, etc. And I have no doubt that the reason for them not taking on the challenge is because their broad and sweeping ideological assertions, that Fox News is essentially part of a "vast right wing conspiracy", has no basis in reality and therefore cannot be defended through facts and verifiable quotes.

The American people deserve better than a president  that has degenerated to the point where he has publicly announced the equivalent of an "enemies list" (sound familiar?) and who is going after his critics using every cheap-shot and underhanded trick in the book.

President Obama's poll numbers are sinking lower and lower. As of today, his voter approval index is minus 13. And for the first time during President Obama’s time in office, his Approval Index has been in negative double digits for seven straight days.

Today, millions of Americans see President Obama as an abject failure and his administration as consisting of fringe left-wing cartoon characters that have an affinity for the likes of mass-murders such as Mao Zedong, and  have no affinity for America's founding fathers and the U.S. Constitution. Can you blame them?

President Obama, instead of reaching out to all Americans through a sincere effort to bring America together and making good on his promise of "hope and change" chose, instead, to marginalize his critics in an attempt to shut them up and, therefore, divert attention from his failed policies and cartoon-like administration. One of the things that distinguishes America from the third world is America's first amendment right of "free speech" and freedom of the press. A concept that was very near and dear to the hearts and minds of America's founding fathers but, obviously, has no place in the Obama Administration.

ACP: Thank! At first I thought that it was a bit too harsh! But I quickly got back into reality mode when I took into consideration that the first thing that third-world dictators do, once they're in power, is to shut down the presses and the media. The right of free speech should be the first concern (other than survival) of all freedom-loving peoples throughout the world. The slightest indication that an American president is tampering with the first amendment should send up a red flag to all Americans no matter what their political views. Who will the Obama Administration go after next if it's allowed to go after an American media outlet and specific media personalities simply because they criticize him and his administration? I have no doubt that once America goes down that slippery slope chaos will ensue.

Fox doesn't seem to understand that they aren't doing their part to prop up the idealized and heroic public image.

Instead of unquestioning flattery and praise, they are disrespecting the man.

How un-American is that?

HUGH: Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Barack Hussein Obama! That's what it's all about apparently. I'm beginning to agree with some of my more conservative minded friends that President Obama has a bit of the narcissistic personality in him . . . .

Third world dictators do not have as much blood on their hands as has American democracy.President
Obama ignited the hopes for change, wanted by Americans and non-Americans both. But he failed to
deliver.

Media's independence is a myth woven by media barons.Media's main job is to shape and not express
public opinion. This job is entrusted to media by the power-that-be.Propaganda machines, what we call mainstream media, have been found more suitable than sermons and public speeches to ruling elites all over the world.Woodrow Wilson's committment to first World war has had to be made acceptable to pacificst Americans, who comprised overwhelming majority. So war loving Woodrow Wilson appointed Creel Commission to lauch a propaganda through media. The Creel Commission' success was a meticolous success-within a span of six months pacificts turned into a hysterical war-mongering population.

possession of WMDs by Saddam Hussain, who was brutal but much less in degree and kind than father
and son duo of Bush, was a lie which media dessiminated 24x7 to convince Americans that Saddam was a serious threat to US.But when lies were exposed the blame was shifted to CIA.

Thomas Friedman, the blood-thirsty journalist, admitted that US administration lied to American people
and war on Iraq was justified despite that.He suggested another lie:War on Iraq was to install democracy. Two lies make one truth.

Military-industrail-media complex, the axis of evil,is shaping new US foreign policy.Obama or no Obama.

"Third world dictators do not have as much blood on their hands as has American democracy."

I'm most certain Pol Pot would agree with that statement. Idi Amin would perhaps, but he is busy snacking on his enemies at the moment.

Thanks for your comment. Much appreciated! I understand the point of view that you're coming from.

I am more than certain that Pol Pot,Idi Amin and Suhatro didn't kill the number of persons American establishment has killed.

Latin America,Far-East,Phillippines,Middle-east,Pakistan,Afghanistan and even Rwanda all put together come no where to killing by US.

Better you do some reading and ascertain figures.I can recommend few books.Search websites relating to mass killing by US troops.Even killing in Viet Nam will substantiate what I say.

Read Noam Chomsky, howard Ziin,William Blum and Ramsey Clark.

Well shoot, if Noam Chomsky sez it, we know it's the gospel.

Sorry, I totally disagree. With President Bush in office before Obama, we saw a John Wayne stance toward anyone that disagreed with Bush. Evil begets evil. Bush's stance only made other countries around the world more unstable and worried about America becoming the next Big Brother (read the book). The only mistake Obama has made was over valuing the public's opinon, where Bush just ignored it and went on his way, Obama on the other hand actually listens. That was Obama's big mistake. Scott C. Waring-Author

Today, the Prez will be in Boston, just a few miles from where I live. The traffic commute will be unbearable for all those that work in "town". The Gov. is jumping foot to foot that the "O" will be here to try to bolster his sliding popularity also. "Birds of a feather" is suppose. His visit here is nothing like a visit from the Pope. No big crowds are anticipated. He is speaking at M.I.T. and will no doubt try to ram his health care bill down the throats of those in attendance. I have been saying all along that the "O" is more and more acting like a dictator than a President of the free world. It scares me to think that he is still being considered a President of change for all the wrong reasons. For the American people to be afraid of the direction a President is steering the countries national policies and not listening to his citizens is truely pointing to a dictatorship. It is going to be a long three years until we can expect more positive change.
