Today I did something I never did before. I went to see a politician speak. Of course we all know Barack Obama is special. Besides the fact that he will be the first black US president, the world is hoping he can fix so much of what has gone wrong over the past 8 years. Walking from the Brandenburg Gate to the Große Stern was an experience I will never forget. It was extremely crowded but everyone was in a great mood. The day felt very important. Most days don't feel like that.
