This proposed bill in Uganda
goes way too far. Uganda is an
independent country with a right
to pass it's own laws but they
should not go overboard in it.
The Ugandan measure calls for the death penalty or life imprisonment for HIV-positive homosexuals who have sex with minors.

life imprisonment.

"Anyone who knowingly infects someone else with aids should be punished but not with the death penalty or life imprisonment."
Say what? You KNOWINGLY infect someone with a deadly disease, and the death penalty is too harsh?
That qualifies as premeditated. Life imprisonment is too harsh?
What, give the perp a time-out and take away his milk and cookies?

I wasn't clear. ' HIV-positive homosexuals who have sex with minor" I meant it was too harsh for having sex. If the partner is infected, then the perpetrator should get life in prison. If the victim dies, then he should be executed.
