Obama Condemns Iran's Rulers
US President Barack Obama has condemned Iran's rulers for last Saturday's bloody crackdown.
He makes his stance clear and forceful that Iran's authoritative regime has done wrong against the people of Iran by taking the harsh action on protesters.
He also accuses Iran's leaders of fabricating charges against the United States.
The US President makes these strong statements at a news conference at the White House in Washington D.C. yesterday.
He says he is appalled and outraged by the threats, beatings, imprisonment suffered by dissenters ,many of whom have been arrested,in the confrontation of the people and state power in Iran, in the historic events of the past few days.
Since the hotly disputed presidential election on June 12 has turned into a post-election crisis,Obama has now voiced his deep concern and support for the fighters of freedom, justice, right and truth in Iran.
He praises the dissenters for their courage and dignity, especially the women who stood out marching on the streets to voice their feelings and object to the Massive Vote Fraud of the 21s Century.
Saying he has watched the heartbreaking video of martyr, the late Neda Agha-Soltan,the woman shot dead in Tehran,Obama stresses:
"While this loss is raw and extraordinarily painful, we also know this: Those who stand up for justice are always on the right side of history."
The decision to use a more forceful and pragmatic approach from his earlier moderate tone must mean tremendous moral support of the Iranian people.
Last Saturday's shocking crushing iron-fisted use of force to quash the demonstratorswould be a black blot forever recorded for posterity of violent response crimes on Iran and its people by Iran's ruthless regime.
The huge public upswell, unrest and protest can develop into a thunderous human green tsunami to shake and sweep the mullahs out of power.
Let's see whether it can build on the past 10 days' momentum into the potential regime changing people power wave.
