Democratic Presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama rallied over four thousand supporters at his "Change We Need," cross-Philadelphia tour today.
The rally was held in North Philadelphia at Progress Plaza on 1501 Broad street. Before Senator Obama delivered his remarks, Senator Bob Casey, Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell and Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter spoke to the crowd in rallying them for Obama's appearance.
Michele Obama, wife of Senator Obama, and Delaware Senator Joe Biden were not present at the rally.
Three other stops are on Obama's itinerary today including a stop at Mayfair Diner on 7373 Frankford Avenue.
