Fact: Obama has proposed spending $95 billion in loans and grants to help 10.9 million students pay for college

Dear President Obama,

Instead of spending $95 billion lining the pockets of Big Education in the private sector, why not spend that money on offering accredited online degrees through the federal government?

How much could it possibly cost to offer online classes to the entire nation? A couple of servers? Of course there would be an initial cost of creating the curriculum, but once this stage was completed you'd have a very cost effective way to give Americans the means of receiving a free education!

Signed,

Peter Lounsbury

It wont happen though. Why? Because Obama wouldn't dare compete with Big Education in the state or private sector.

Does the theme sound familiar?
