OPINION:

The State of California contradicted the Supreme Courts decision on November 4 issue on the " Gay Marriage" which was endorsed by John MacCain. Californians vote for the altering and overriding the rule of the Supreme Court allowing " SAME -SEX MARRIAGE"

The California court's decision made the state the second after Massachusetts to allow same-sex marriages and the first to offer to marry gay couples from outside the state. The marriages began on June 16.

Many Gay couples rushed to the Wedding Hall aiming to get married despite the same sex issue. They believed equal rights and fight for their benefits to be considered normal. They believed that marriage should be  an equal opportunity not only for opposite sex but to them, too.

Obama said he favors extending "fully equal rights and benefits to same sex couples under both state and federal law" in the letter, posted on the Web site of the Alice B. Toklas Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Democratic Club of San Francisco.

Does Sen. Obama really is trying to practice equal rights? Or taking advantage on the upcoming election campaign winning the heart of gay population?

"And that is why I oppose the divisive and discriminatory efforts to amend the California Constitution, and similar efforts to amend the U.S. Constitution or those of other states," the Illinois senator said.
