I Voted - And I voted in a way that my vote was not purchased through income re-distribution by the federal government or through a four to one commercial buy on television. The Main Stream Media did not suppress my vote or depress this voter even though I live in a bankrupt Blue State that is 18 Billion dollars in debt. Image Credit: Edmund Jenks (2008)

"Obama Is Going To Pay For My Gas And Mortgage!!!"

This IS the “Obama Effect” most people are looking for (click link to see video).

Yep! An Obama win will signal the end to self-determination, self-reliance, and the uniqueness that has made our country the envy of the rest of the world for the better part of 100 years.

What is wrong with this homemade political fence sign (photographed while standing in line at the polling station)? ... well, the sign is placed over 100 feet from the polling station so that not it ... Oh!, that is a Mercedes-Benz logo placed inside the Obama "O" ... NO, it's NOT a peace sign! We need high retention, better educated voters out here. Image Credit: Edmund Jenks (2008)

Opportunity will forever spelled with a small “O” because the big “O” will have been taken up with the tax-giveaway space that a Barack Obama presidency occupies.

People, as teenagers, really never rebelled against their parent’s control over their lives in earnest … they could not have been serious, because if they were, they would NEVER vote for an agenda that the Democrats and a Brarck Obama will bring to their lives.

The amount of control the federal government will expect if one has a dissenting voice while receiving a handout will become unstoppable.

Hmm Edmund, I wonder, you say that government expenditure will explode under Obama and the USA will loose it's advantage which it has enjoyed the past 100 years. Further you go here in this comment by saying that the federal government will put free speech under further attack.

These remarks suprises me, is it ironic? Coz, federal expenses has exploded twice, first under the Reagan administration in the '80's and secondly under Bush junior in the pas 8 years. Further the federal government erected the Bureau for Home Defence which has the right the monitor all communication of the US citizens and curbed their freedoms significantly!

When do Republicans acknowledge that it has never been the Democratic presidents who ruined the states finances, but it were their Republican presidents! Clinton is ridiculed for many things, but he brought the federal expenses back in line only to see Bush junior waste them in the first year of his presidency.

Last, it was Bush who came up with the socialist policies of the bail out for the Wallstreet bankers and leave the bill for his succesor and Joe the Plumber on Mainstreet! So tax rates may rise, but that is due to Republican policies of exesive spenditure in the past 8 years!

Congratualtions to Barack Obama and the George Soros funded "Hard Left".

Daily Kos will replace the New York Times as the paper of record, free speech will be under attack through the rivial of "Fairness Doctrine", 401K retirement programs will become the property of the federal government and reduced to a maximum 3% growth opportunity, more babies will not make it to see the light of day than less (even those who might have seen the light but officially did not), tax rates will be increased and less taxes will be actually collected, the national debt will continue to increase along with the size of federal government, less energy will be drilled, mined, transported, fused, and otherwise placed in a way our freedoms are increased and made more viable, less free trade and more economic isolation will become the trends, true respect and stature for the United States will suffer as our support for Israel takes a step backward, and the balance of power in Washington DC will have all power with little balance.

Sadly, the federal government will insert itself in the control over our everyday lives to a greater degree than ever before and everyone's personal freedom of choice and options will decrease and hence become less of a shining city on the hill most thought of when people throughout the world came to a vision of the United States and its capitalistic based democracy.

Life will change and it will not be for the better. It will become harder to find a place to succeed with one's dreams for at least one generation.

All hail to The One.

I sure do not see your reasoning here Edmund. First of all what gas? The gas that is so expensive caused by Repubmanagement. Pay for my mortgage, because jobs were loss during the Repo-blican't policies?  Republicans are the biggest big government ever created...accumulating more debt than a calculator can tabulate...and you think that is good, by not accounting for debt? You don't seem that out of touch to reality. Maybe you are joking here.

Obama will be a welcome to America....Hardly a comparison to Jimmy Carter.
