President Barack Obama will hold a joint meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on Tuesday to help restart peace talks between the two sides, the White House said.

This meeting is a  good

idea.  The three leaders

can directly discuss the

possibilities of a peace deal

in the middle east. It is not

likely to produce a full

agreement but it could make

a start toward that goal.
