Obama Joker Picture Propaganda: Parodies Socialized Healthcare

A poster picture depicting President Barack Obama painted up in Joker fashion emblazoned with 'socialism' below the image has appeared across Los Angeles and Atlanta. The propaganda serves to parody Obama's proposed $1 trillion healthcare program, a more socialized leaning solution to healthcare in the United States.

The artist of the poster remains anonymous, but whoever he or she is their work has stirred up quite the controversy in the media and across the web. The website that originally published the image crashed due to high traffic from so many people trying to view the Heath Ledger inspired parody.

The right-wing editor of the American Thinker website, Thomas Lifson, wrote today: 'It is starting.

'Open mockery of of Barack Obama, as disillusionment sets in with the man, his policies, and the phony image of a race-healing, brilliant, scholarly middle-of-the-roader.'

But the President's supporters have condemned the image, calling it 'mean-spirited and dangerous.'

A spokesman from the Los Angeles urban policy unit said that depicting the president as demonic and a socialist 'goes beyond political spoofery.'

Funny though, any true fan of Batman knows that Joker is not a socialist but rather an anarchist, quite the contrary to socialism.

how sad to portray the president of the united states so negatively...better to channel ideas and efforts positively rather than negatively...if you don't agree with the president, that's one thing..if you disrespect him, and the office thats another..sorry i disagree with this post

OK, it may be disrespectful to the office to portray the president in such a fashion, but you do have to admit it's funny. I'm not a fan of Batman, but I've seen the movie and this is funny.

Guess the person that parodied he President must have oodles of cash for hospital visits and such to make fun of a man who is by far the first one doing something concrete about the mess of Healthcare in the US.

Regardless of whether the joker was a socialist or not--these posters are right! Obama is working to get more government into every facet of our lives. Just look at the bank situation--instead of actually solving the problem let's just put a big band-aid over it by throwing money at it! The same problem will pop up again, just further down the road. And you want him to mess with our health care?!?! He's screwed up the banks, so let's let him take a crack at the health care system--maybe he can screw that up as well. No, let's just give 'Big Brother' more control over that system just like the banks. Then what's next? Are we going to give more control over food and it's distribution to the government too? Does this sound familiar to any of you liberal morons out there? Can we say communism anybody? Or, like the poster says, 'Socialism'?
