Part 3 : Fort Hood Memorial Service_

About 15 thousand people attended a memorial service at Fort Hood Military Base to honor those killed during last week's Ft. Hood shootings.  President Barack Obama said "This is a time of war. And yet these Americans did not die on a foreign field of battle.

"They were killed here, on American soil, in the heart of this great American community.

"It is this fact that makes the tragedy even more painful and even more incomprehensible."

Arizona senator John McCain was also in attendance at the Ft. Hood Memorial Service. Many families wearing red, white and blue ribbons united in their grief for the fallen soliders.
