Obama, McCain Spar over Immigration

The Sway to get the Ethnic Vote is underway as two Presidential candidates fight to get elected as President.
It seems both are trying to top one another in who is the more dedicated to solve the Immigration problem, a problem which has been a problem for decades with no solution in sight. Talk is Cheap, but then it does get one Elected.
Both the Republicans and Democrats when in Power the last few decades did a lot of talking about it, but talk and rhetoric seems to placate the masses, as anyone knows, nothing really gets done once elected, otherwise this problem would have been solved under Clinton and Bush before him.
Obama, McCain spar over immigrationJohn Whitesides and Jeff Mason, ReutersPublished: Saturday, June 28, 2008WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain courted Hispanic support on Saturday, and Obama accused his White House rival of backing away from comprehensive U.S. immigration reform under pressure from his party.
In separate appearances before a group of Latino public officials, the two presidential contenders portrayed themselves as dedicated champions for Hispanics -- a fast-growing and critical swing voting bloc in November's election.
Obama took aim at McCain's approach to comprehensive immigration reform and his change of emphasis on legislation to offer a pathway to citizenship for the country's 12 million illegal immigrants.

Thanks Castro, either the American Voter have short memories or Politics makes strange bedfellows with Obama and McCain both knowing this will never be solved by talking about it.
