Obama in New York City: Populist spleen
Obama vented his anger on the "deceptive practices" and predatory behavior of "the few" as he attended fundraiser events for the DNC in New York City last evening:
Days after his senior aides ramped up the populist rhetoric against Wall Street, President Obama did the same in remarks at several fundraisers in New York City last night. The president, speaking at a cash-collecting event for the Democratic National Committee, condemned the "reckless speculation and deceptive practices and short-sightedness and self-interestedness from a few."
Later, the president vented his spleen about small business not being able to secure loans even as Wall Street returns to profitability: "That tells me that people aren't thinking about their obligations, our mutual obligations to each other, the fact that we're in this together," said Obama.

The future loser and destroyer of the Democratic Party, the idol of leftist idealism who is really all about a "remaking" of America that is not derived from what Americans really want, but what leftists want, has begun to wend his way down a very self-destructive path.
Too bad Diane Feinstein hadn't decided to run. Whether I agree with her on all issues or not, the ex-Mayor of San Fran has a very rational, well-grounded side that would have made a good president.
Same for Colin Powell.
Both of them are grown-ups. The prez is not.

Yes, I wonder when Colin will start having bad dreams for his publicly endorsing this "child".

Instead of slamming institutions like a spoiled child, Obama should start adressing real issues like Unemployment, Afghanistan and Health Care, in that order.
Most of his campaign like appearances detract from the real issues.

He gets to make the rules, now he vents?
He was ignorant of what was going on? He didn't know that the banks were loaning that money to the gummit?
Surely there is room for anger here, but coming from his administration?

Sure true as I wrote today in my essay:
Tangled in the debate of health care and bleeding political capital, the White House may find itself too weak and distracted to deal with the dangers of joblessness.
...and certainly not a clear view is obtained to tackle a problem that could define the outcome of Obama’s presidency the way George W. Bush was caught by the 9/11 events.
Obama is on the road of self destruction as HA correctly points-out:
"He gets to make the rules, now he vents?
He was ignorant of what was going on? He didn't know that the banks were loaning that money to the gummit?"
