Obama Not Honest As I Once Thought
Senator Barak Obama says that he has more experience than Sarah Palin. The problem is he has nothing to show for it! Besides, being a senator is easy street compared to being a chief executive like governor which is what Palin is. Governors have to make decisions and actually run a state or a country. Obama never ran anything than a community organization in Chicago and the results were less than spectacular, to say the least.
Even as senator, Obama’s voting record is among the most liberal. Obama even denied giving medical aid to babies who ended up being born alive after horrific attempts at being aborted. You call that good judgment!
Governor Sarah Palin cleaned out the corruption from her own Republican Party in Alaska. That’s a true reformer. Obama has done nothing against the deep political corruption among his own Democrats in Chicago. Palin is the "Change We Can Believe In" not Barak Obama.
Governor Sarah Palin is pro-life and economically conservative and has changed, really changed, Alaska politics and economic life for the better. Governor Palin has realistic and intelligent strategies for energy independence for our country. She has common sense. She knows we need to depend on fossil fuels while transitioning to various forms of renewable energy. In other words, we still need to drill baby.
Senator Obama promises to give everything to everyone by taxing only the wealthy. You can’t even tax the wealthy enough to do this even if you taxed them out of all they own.
We need both Democrats and Republicans to work together in this country. Both sides have been right on various issues at various times in the history of this country. Senator John McCain has shown a history of supporting Democrats when he thinks they’re right on a particular issue even though McCain himself is Republican. The converse is not true of Obama.
Political experience is not the most important thing for a leader. Good character, intelligence, and judgment are. Political leaders can always surround themselves with experts who can give them the facts they need to know, but a leader must have good judgment in what to do with those facts.
Yes, it would be exciting to have a long awaited African American president, but Obama is not that person. I thought Obama was an honest politician even when wrong on certain issues, but I thought wrong after finding out that Obama’s relationship with American terrorist Bill Ayers was not just a one-time thing at the young age of eight as he said. This is frightening!
Here's an interesting article: "Resume of a Terrorist: Obama's Buddy Ayers" http://theconservativevoice.com/article/34211.html.
And it doesn’t help that Obama’s wife, Michelle, thinks blacks still have no opportunities and live under slavery or under Jim Crow segregation, at best, and is not the least bit appreciative of obtaining a fine education at America’s top universities which has enabled her to earn $300,000 a year. Forget about what Michelle said at the Democratic convention. The real Michelle showed through in her thesis at Princeton University and last year when she bitterly complained about America’s racism in Charlotte, North Carolina. Yes, there’s still the sin of racism in America but it’s not anywhere that Michelle Obama makes it out to be. America has come a long way from what it was just a few decades ago. Forgive a little, will you Michelle?
May God bless the McCain-Palin ticket!

May we have an "Opinion" tag, please?

"Obama is not as honest as I once thought"?
Stunning headline.
IMO, he's presented nothing to establish that he even knows how to spell the word honest, much less be that way.

Yes, I know you both would prefer a lying governor from Alaska who flip flops almost as much as her running mate from Arizona.

No, actually, I would prefer that the Demockacrats, liberals and leftists had presented someone other than community organizer and fascist Barack Obama, or whatever his real name is, who had some experience, any experience, that would indicate he has any idea of what it would be to even put his name into the ring to be considered as a candidate for president.
And flip-flopping? Careful, cowboy. Community organizer has mastered that so much that he's simultaneously for something while against it, but arguing that he's neither for or against it.

Your title is slightly misleading.

What I find hilarious is the MSM's utter failure to report this lovely quote:
Barack Obama Said That He Had More Executive Experience Because Of The Size Of His Campaign. CNN’s
ANDERSON COOPER: “And Senator Obama, my final question, some of your Republican critics have said you don’t have the experience to handle a situation like this. They’ve in fact said that Governor Palin has more executive experience as mayor of a small town and as governor of a big state of Alaska. What’s your response?”
OBAMA: “Well, my understanding is that Governor Palin’s town of Wasilla has I think 50 employees. We’ve got 2,500 in this campaign. I think their budget is maybe $12 million a year. You know, we have a budget of about three times that just for the month. So I think that our ability to manage large systems and to execute I think has been made clear over the last couple of years.” (CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360 Degrees,” 9/1/08)
REALLY??? That's what Obama is basing his "experience" argument on? You've got to be kidding me. The man has never made an executive decision that didn't involve HIM. He may be "managing" (although I use that term loosely) his campaign funds, but the beneficiary is HIMSELF. When has the guy ever managed something (besides the ol' "community organizer" stint) that mattered to Americans??? Never.

Bama's experience is trash. Ayers mentoring is his sole experience.

Obama will have full access to CIA and FBI data which he can freely pass on to his relatives and cohorts.

You would rather it in the hands of Dick Cheney types who would have it published in the news?

I am amazed at many theologians and other "Christians" when it comes to political elections, public policy, and international relations. I think most right-wing Christians may ignore the fact that Jesus was born to a working class family in a small country in the Middle East that was occupied by a foreign power. Christians should consider the fact that when Joseph was faced with the need to flee to escape King Herod, he ran to Africa, knowing that his family would blend in quite nicely in Africa and could live there indefinitely without being conspicuous.
Last I heard, Jesus never swore allegiance to anyone based on nationality or political affiliations. Therefore, I would expect Christians to either stay out of political debates or admit that there is positive and negative in both major parties. Jesus is not a Republican or a Democrat, and he isn't even a U.S. citizen.

While we are criticizing Obama for dishonesty, let us all admit that America still has a problem with racism, rather than find fault with Michelle Obama for stating the obvious.
There have been SIX (known) Oakland Police Dept. killings this year, all people of Color, ranging from 14 to 74 years old. September 25 will be the two month anniversary of the killing of Mr. Woodfox (27-year-old father of two, unarmed, shot in the back multiple times by the police after getting stopped for a suspected DUI). The same officer was reportedly also responsible for the killing of Andrew Moppin on New Year's Eve of last year. And that is only ONE city!
If the writer really believes that racism and oppression of African Americans is over, simply by-gone history that is unworthy of mention by Michelle Obama, please call and explain it to Mr. Woodfox’s mother, Sean Bell’s mother, or any number of other African American families across the country. A group that is working to help address police violence may have contact information for Mr. Woodfox's mom: Uhuru House at 510-569-9620. On the other hand, convince my own mother, whose son was secretly arrested and held for 18 days until his death in a Deep South jail, while police denied having him and we could therefore not administer his vital heart drugs. Haven’t we had enough pretending over the last number of years? The cover is off now. Let us admit there is much to be done to improve human rights in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />our country and elect people we feel will address the need for CHANGE. Patriotism does not require that one be blind to his nation's faults. You cannot improve something while pretending a problem does not exist. And please realize that nominating, or even electing, one man of color to a high political office does not obliterate the problem and is not enough to make racism disappear, and neither does it disappear because we can point out a minute percentage of African American college graduates.
