As this blog has been predicting in Hillary's darkest days...she will be the next president and she will find a way to destroy Obama. She has done it. Obama was running on a hope and dream campaign that just couldn't survive more than a few months. No one knew anything about Obama, he didn't talk about any issues, and just kept up the false "I will make your hopes and dreams come true." campaign. It was a "Dream" campaign, and now it's turned into a nightmare. Obama is through and white America is NOT going to vote for him.

Obama has been forced now to give a "Race" speech. By finally having to talk about an actual issue, and of all issues, race, Obama is in a debate that he can not win. He now must chose to either try his best to get back white voters and completely turn his back on his church, or turn his back on the chance to become president. Either choice is the wrong move, and no matter how suave his speech tomorrow night is, he has lost a statistically significant amount of white voters. Being that they are the dominant voting force, that is not good.

Best case scenario for Obama is that he hangs in long enough to beat Hillary in the primaries and the super delegates bury him. Obama CAN NOT win a general election now, quite obviously, he represents anti-American sentiment, and not in the "Cool" way anymore, but in the deranged "Rev." Al kinda way. Even if by some miracle he wins the Democratic nomination now, McCain, the All American, will absolutely slaughter him in the polls. The absolute best case scenario has happened for the Republicans...Hillary has finally knocked Obama ON HIS ASS...leaving the dirty work out of McCain's hands and he can just mop up what's left of them. The bitch is back, and so is the general election. I am officially withdrawing the inevitability of the Democratic nominee...once again, the party manages to fumble and bumble just about everything, and lose a race that was "Impossible" to lose!

Aren't you being a bit premature?  Primaries often take all sorts of turns before they finally get decided.

Hello Rob,

This is an interesting opinion piece, though I'm not in agreement with it.  I don't think Obama has definitely lost the race as yet - he still has a fighting chance.

I read one news report earlier, that had a photo showing Obama writing his own 'race speech.'  I remember thinking how weird it was that he was actually writing his own speech, instead of using a political speech writer.

I'm interested in what will come out as a result of the speech and just a little more than curious about what he's going to say and his stance on the 'Rev.'

P.S.  Since I hadn't planned on quoting the article and the image, I didn't make a note of the URL.  My apologies.
