Obama Opposes US Drone Attack on Quetta, Opposing US drone on Quetta, President Barack Obama has said that drone attack on Quetta will be a destructive decision, a US magazine has claimed.

On the other hand, Obama said that increase in number of US troops in Afghanistan should bring results. According to the magazine, President Obama is a big hindrance in way of CIA’s covert operation of extending drone attacks’ circle under Search and Destroy Program. Obama believes that increase in drone attack would be unwise and dangerous. He maintains that Pakistani leadership will come up with a strong reaction on it.

The President has a public view and a tactical view on Drone attacks in Pakistan. I think this is an example of this.  He has increased Drone attacks in Pakistan more than President Bush.

 Senior U.S. officials are pushing to expand CIA drone strikes beyond Pakistan's tribal region and into a major city in an attempt to pressure the Pakistani government to pursue Taliban leaders based in Quetta.

The proposal has opened a contentious new front in the clandestine war. The prospect of Predator aircraft strikes in Quetta, a sprawling city, signals a new U.S. resolve to decapitate the Taliban. But it also risks rupturing Washington's relationship with Islamabad.

The key behind such a strategy is to deny safe havens to both the Taliban and Al Qaeda. Unfortunately .... the Pakistani Government has other priorities.
