Here is Prachi's Chance to Serve as Keynote Speaker Host at JrPYIC!
Dear Parent,
As an Inaugural Scholar at the Junior Presidential Youth Inaugural Conference (JrPYIC), Prachi now has the opportunity to showcase her talents in front of the entire Inaugural Conference — by serving as one of the official Keynote Speaker Hosts and introducing Lance Armstrong or other world-famous speakers and political experts appearing at the Conference!
To be selected as one of the official Keynote Speaker Hosts, all Prachi has to do is create and submit a 30-second video covering any one of the four topics listed below. If her video is chosen as a winner, she will serve as one of the official Keynote Speaker Hosts at the Conference!
The 30-second video Prachi creates and submits must cover any one of these four topics:
What issue would Prachi like the new president to make a top priority?
What is the most pressing issue facing middle school students today?
How does Prachi show that she is a leader in her school and community?
What did Prachis experience at a previous conference or conferences mean to her?
We encourage Prachi to be creative! Video entries will be judged by Prachis peers and the staff of the Inaugural Conference. Prachis video may even be showcased on our web site or during the Conference!
Prachi must submit her video by November 2, 2008 for her chance to win. To view the contest rules and instructions on how to submit Prachis video, click here. Finally, be sure to tell Prachi to check the Resource Station in the Enrolled Scholars section of the web site for information on the candidates as they prepare for the upcoming debates. We have posted helpful links and tools to keep Prachi informed throughout the election season.
