Obama's top secret VP search - at least it was top secret until the reporters  caught wind of it.

Obama is not reading Politisite!  I am shocked, we think that his best VP candidate would Be Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano ,  Has all of Hillary,' good points and much more.  She also has very few negatives.  She is a popular Governor in a state that goes Republican with 10 electorial votes.  Sense 1980, Arizona has gone Blue only once,  in 1996 for President Clinton. 6 times it has gone Republican.  Napolitano most likely will carry the state for Obama.  Obama needs to stray from the old school politics "good Ole boy" white male Governor's.  With the electorate divided by slim margins,  10 electoral votes makes all the difference  in the world.  You heard it here first.

Update July 27, 2008, The orginal aricle was written in May and Politisite is still convinced that Gov Janet Napoltano of Arizonia will be Obama's VP.  When was the last time the MSM got a VEEP candidate correct,  We did some basic deduction, looked at demographics needed to win, and what Obama needs to round out his ticket.  With all the female voters who will vote McCain, because Hillary is not on the Ballot, Napolitano has all the requirements that a Clinton would bring less the excessive baggage that is quite expensive these days.

Barack Obama would be a fool not to pick AZ Gov. Janet Napolitano as his running mate:

A moderate, she has proven herself a calm, competent and commonsensical executive.

She is on the front lines of the border battle over illegal immigration, and has signed into law one of the few employer sanctions for hiring forged documented aliens that withstood legal challenge.

Having her on the ticket will force McCain to contest AZ to ensure he carries the state.

She helps Obama court women voters - and donors - who are still furious that once again an inexperienced man edged out a more competent woman for the top job.

Politisite is going on the record for  Obama VP is Janet Napolitano  she has all of he savy as Clinton, but none of the negatives.  She will pull back the woman who would leave Obama and vote for McCain.  Has executaive expeience, won in a GOP state.  The MSM are no floating her name byt all of my stats say she is the best VP to complement Obama.  Gov Napolitano will help Obama win the states mentioned above.  So, Senator Obama, if you want to beat McCain, forget about Clinton and Pick Governor Janet Napolitano for VP.

in Bill Clinton's view, she has earned nothing short of an offer to be Obama's running mate, according to some who are close to the former President. Bill "is pushing real hard for this to happen," says a friend. [snip]

Some of Clinton's own strategists are doubtful that Obama will offer to make her his running mate - in no small part because that would mean bringing Bill aboard. Her presence on the ticket would also undercut Obama's core message of change and his promise of a new brand of politics. However, advisers say that in the interest of unifying the party, there may well be a good argument for tapping one of the Clintons' high-profile supporters, such as Indiana Senator Evan Bayh or Ohio governor Ted Strickland.

But neither of them would give Obama an automatic entrée to crucial voter groups that Clinton won - women, Latinos, older voters, blue-collar whites - and that in many key states have appeared to be beyond his reach.

If Obama wants to tap a high profile Clinton supporter that would help him with blue-collar white voters, you'd think Ed Rendell would be on the list. There's another big time FOBAH (Friend of Bill and Hillary) who could boost Obama in a different but perhaps vital way: General Wesley Clark.

Would she really be able to swing AZ away from McCain? I mean, heck, he's been a senator there since it became a state!

Or since Christ was a child--- BigT

At least McCain isn't playing the Age Card, like Obama is playing the Race Card and Hillary the Gender and Memory Loss Card!

True.

I do have to give it to McCain on this one front. He hasn't lowered himself into the political muck at all.

politisite, Governor
Janet Napolitano would be a worthy and interesting choice as a VP candidate. It would work with a vote within a different demography of the Hillary Clinton & U.S. that everyone thought was not touchable in this race or any other in the United States at any other time in history of this country. Men, Male intellect, Ego's, Ideologue from centuries of training in belief, training and understanding that Gender for the most part have not been enabled to participate in the right to vote or considered to be heard with conviction from the Women's Suffrage began in 1776 and continued until the August 20th, 1920 with the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
Two women against one another even at different levels of the race for presidential race would enable women throughout this country a choice most would not be able to see from another time within the history of this country and many past political male through this country history or time would not have for seen a race of this sort as even a possibility for the power of a kingdom, Nation or country. Yes I do know of the Queen Elizabeth's and Spain reigns of Queens, as I am sure of others in history and times in the past.  This is now where a change is much need and desired within the United State of America from the top down. These possibility for the women of this nation to stand within the grasp of a women running the white house or even as a Vice President would be amazing to invoke with encouragement the chance at a change that they would be able to make Here and Now in this time and place in this Country...
Well this would be interesting.

I WOULDN’T MIND JANET NAPOLITANO AS VP IF SHE DIDN’T TRY TO ELIMINATE RESPIATORY THERAPISTS IN ARIZONA. SHE TRIED TO PASS A BILL HB2741 THAT WOULD HAVE GOTTEN RID OF MY PROFESSION TO NURSING. I DON’T TRUST HER.

My Ex was a neo-natal respiratory Therapist.  There is a good reason for specialized training.  many hospitals have nurses or tech doing treaments to cut down on costs.  Quaility of care and crisis management is lost when a tech, LBM, or RN performs these services.  What got me was my wife had a masters degree and the Neo Natal Nurse practitioners got almost 30 per hour more.  So when they say they want nurses to do the treaments theye are not talking about an NP, they are talking about a 12-18 per hour LPN a 7-11 per hour CNA,  they are not going to use the BSN for this.  Bet the bills dont come down.

Yes, I just saw that after you mentioned him.  He had written something on her before.  Looks like he feels that She is out of the running but I don't.  A lot of names get dropped to see what public opinion will be.  The old, drop a name as a possible candidate, and watch the fact checkers get working, if the is a clean bill, then pundits start bringing up the name on the news.  Look at foucs groups and throw it on a poll.

Janet hasn't been in the news much, but while clinton was running a bit of seeders were running her name by small media.  I looked at a math professers analysis on demographics, polling, Obamas needs.  he eliminated all of the candidates in the news but the Governor.  He actually used some statisical model that gave her an 87% chance of winning.  If I can track that down I will see if it would be ok to post.  It is from a college math class on statistics.

In order for Obama to win I will say this again. HILLARY HILLARY HILLARY. I understand by bringing hillary along you will have bill too. But in order to work with them you first got to get elected. So I will say again hillary hillary hillary. She solves just about everything besides foreign policy.

I was wrong 13 weeks before the pick.  The best Janet did was get a speaker position at the Convention.  I hung in to the last minute even though I added an article that had Biden three days before the actual pick.   Based on Obamas pick of Biden.  I can only think of one who can take him on at the debates.  and add an economy role.  Romney will be Veep or in the Cabinet.  But Veep is the logical here.  FP McCain / Biden leaving a hole in the nations number one issue the economy.  Compare Obama / Romney and Romney has the Exec and Economic experince that trumps the Obama/Biden ticket.  A Mcain/ Romney ticket covers Economy, Defence and adds executive expierence.  That ticket trumps the Obama/Biden ticket every way I look at it.
