She passed at her home in Honolulu between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. Eastern time at the age of 86. Under a gray and rainy sky on November 3, 2008, supporters, onlookers and various media gathered and braved the unpredictable weather to hear Sen. Obama give one of his last speeches before election day on November 4, 2008.
