Obama's Stepbrother In England, But Did Not Meet His Famous Sibling
Senator Barack's stepbrother got some media attention in England during Obama's whirlwind election campaign in a country that has not yet been officially made a state of the US union.
Bernard Obama 37, runs a car parts business in Nairobi, Kenya but frequents England to visit his mother who was married to Barack's father in Kenya before he left for America where he met Barack's mother, Ann Dunham.
Other than revealing his excitement for his stepbrother's political success and bid for the US Presidency, Bernard does not disclose more in the interview except for sharing his religious beliefs, "I'm a Muslim, I don't deny it. My father was raised a Muslim."
It's obvious from the interview that he and Barack are not close but have met a few times. Bernard said he won't be seeing Barack Obama on this election campaign in England, "It's official business and he'll be very busy."

SocklessSam, I like this story. It's good stuff.
but the Sun isn't a very worthy newspaper?

The Sun is a tabloid but most daily papers in England feature what we in the states would consider tabloid articles. Reading papers in England is fascinating and the news there is quite different than in the states. Thanks for commenting!

The SUN is a popular UK tabloid, but they employ top journalists. The stories are true... if somewhat tawdry.

Yes Christina, I know they are a tabloid but most papers in England are what we in the US will consider tabloid. The article doesn't say much but it IS interesting as a human interest story on Obama.
Did you load the videos? I am still learning this thing and am a bit lost at times. But thanks if you did!

Guess Bernard did not to risk getting swept under the bus, planning to attend the inauguration. How thoughtful.

Hi Sockless, Sam, Yes, sorry I did load the video, but apologies if they are not very apt, but I am not sure how to delete them if so.
Great story, guy living in council housing (=social housing) in Bracknell England, who reads the SUN and supports Man U (="soccer" team) being Barack Obama's step brother. Must be SO embarrassing for Obama.

There are more than one apparently. I just read about another brother from his father's 4th wife living in China. I am wondering if his father actually divorced some of his wives or not. If he was a Muslim, then I think he can technically have 3 wives. Maybe Obama is from a polygamist family. I am not judging this fact, but it would be interesting to find out about and important for voters to know before they vote for him.
