NP Rank:
Oil-for-food scam minister lies about missing persons
Pakistan's home minister lies about missing persons. Rahman Malik, who was responsible for the security of former premier Benazir Bhutto is seen in a video doing frivlous pranks instead of showing respect to his leader. He is the same minister who took nearly two-and-half months to admit the terrorists responsible for the Mumbai attacks were Pakistanis and part of the conspiracy was planned in his country.
Pakistan's home minister Rehman Malik, wellknown for his Iraqi oil-for-food-scam, and who intriguingly got a ministerial slot from Pakistan president Asif Ali Zardari in spite of doing a real lousy job of protecting slain premier Benazir Bhutto on the day she was killed, has simply denied Pakistan's rapist soldiers are holding the 141 Baluch females.
The case has left the civil society in Pakistan horrified.
"It is horrifying and we are trying hard to confirm," Asma Jahangir, chairperson of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, said from Lahore. Jahangir responded to a query by Dr. Zaffar Baloch, a leading member of the Baloch Human Rights Council in Canada.
