America has awakened, finally. The BP oil spill ignited it. Now, at last, we just might dump the pump in exchange for alternatives. We will reduce our carbon footprint. We will restore the spoiled shores and it will take a lot of time and work and jobs at the expense of BP.

In the end, serious damage has been done. Hopefully, we have not lost the brown pelican and other less notable species in the process.
