The Enquirer story, which quoted OJ Simpson associate Bruce Fromong, claims that The Juice was viciously beaten by a skinhead prisoner.

Inmates cheered as a muscular young skinhead knocked him to the ground, punching and kicking him to a bloody pulp and inflicting injuries so severe he secretly spent nearly three weeks in the infirmary before he recovered.

The OJ Simpson attack reportedly sent the star into deep depression.

A spokesperson for the Nevada Department of Corrections has denied the OJ Simpson Attack story.

Others have noted that the rumors of a OJ Simpson prison attack started circulating back in 2009.

OJ Simpson is serving time in connection with a 2007 incident where Simpson and CJ Stewart confronted two memorabilia dealers, one of whom was Bruce Fromong.
