We coming to the time of year where we sing Old Lang Syne, please sing it with me now, dedicated and in the memory of all those that have died far away, from the shores of the lands they have loved and far away from those that loved them....

Should old acquaintance be forgot,
and never brought to mind ?
Should old acquaintance be forgot,
and old lang syne ?

CHORUS:
For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne,
we'll take a cup of kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

And surely you’ll buy your pint cup !
and surely I’ll buy mine !
And we'll take a cup o’ kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

CHORUS

We two have run about the slopes,
and picked the daisies fine ;
But we’ve wandered many a weary foot,
since auld lang syne.

CHORUS

We two have paddled in the stream,
from morning sun till dine† ;
But seas between us broad have roared
since auld lang syne.

CHORUS

And there’s a hand my trusty friend !
And give us a hand o’ thine !
And we’ll take a right good-will draught,
for auld lang syne.

CHORUS

More about the brave guys that lost their lifes..

There have been 4,691 -- coalition deaths -- 4,374 Americans, two Australians, one Azerbaijani, 179 Britons, 13 Bulgarians, one Czech, seven Danes, two Dutch, two Estonians, one Fijian, five Georgians, one Hungarian, 33 Italians, one Kazakh, three Latvians, 22 Poles, three Romanians, five Salvadoran, four Slovaks, one South Korean, 11 Spaniards, two Thai and 18 Ukrainians -- in the Iraq war as of December 15, 2009, according to a CNN count. The list below is the names of the soldiers, Marines, airmen, sailors and Coast Guardsmen whose deaths have been reported by their country's governments. The list also includes 13 U.S. Defense Department civilian employees. At least 31,603 U.S. troops have been wounded in action, according to the Pentagon.

May we never forget their bravery nor commitment each and every one for their country. Let not forget the ladies and gentlemen serving in the forces not just in Iraq but Afghanistan as well. Lets hope they stay safe, lets hope hope that they get home soon and safe.

My thoughts and heart goes out to the love ones of those who died in both conflicts and to those that suffered injuries that have and will effect their lives.
