The Olympic party has only begun!
Complaints are already surfacing about the partying ways of some of our Olympic visitors and most likely, locals. Ireland's international house has already made it to the Canadian headlines for the excessive noise that was heard for blocks, bellowing from the house on Monday night in Vancouver's downtown area.
As the parties surrounding the 2010 Vancouver Winter Games begin to flare up over the next week, we are sure to hear about some good ol’ fashion bar brawls, drunken and disorderly fans and a slue of complaints from grumpy, sleep starved city dwellers. Some people in the downtown area of Vancouver are not that stoked about having their city and their daily lives overtaken by any sports event, even the Olympic Games...
This is only the beginning. The partying, the complaints because of the partying, the excessive noise and all the other complaints that can accumulate when mass amounts of people from all over the world join to celebrate in one city, is going to happen. What can we do? Well, double up the earplugs, take an extra deep breath before heading to work in the morning, or, join the party.

Enjoying all aspects of the olympic experience is a good thing but still people need to use common sense and not take fun too far.

I suspect the number of visitors will increase significantly as the athletes, their families, members of the press, and international visitors arrive for the opening ceremony.
