Omar Rivera Stumbled into the Iman Mosque in Queens and Urinated on Their Prayer Rugs

Just one day after Michael Enright was arrested for slashing New York cab driver Ahmed Sharif, a man named Omar Rivera entered a Queens mosque when he was drunk, shouted anti-Muslim slurs and urinated on their prayer rugs.

Mustapha Sadouki was attending an evening prayer service at the time and told the NY Post that this man came in to the mosque with a beer bottle in his hands and was 'clearly very intoxicated'.

"He fumbled over to our rugs where people were praying" and then committed the despicable desecration, Sadouki said,

He also apparently called the people in the mosques 'terrorists' and shouted slurs at them.

He was subdued by two men and the police were called and he was later charged with criminal trespassing.

"He stuck up his middle finger and cursed at everyone," said Sadouki, 43.

"No one can pray now because the rugs are completely soiled. It was disgusting.

"He calls us terrorists, yet he comes into our mosque and terrorizes other people.

"This is a true hate crime."
