You are very welcome, dunkelberg. I think Michael Moore, even though quite controversial, is brilliant. Thanks again for a great story.

dunkelberg, I like this story. It's good stuff. Moore is such a "Turd Burglar" I like his documentaries, though a lot of it is lefty fantasy, his humour telling it makes it interesting.

Thanks, Barry!

Geeee...lefty fantasy?  Must be thinking of "Canadian Bacon"?

;-)

Enjoyed this story! About "Canadian Bacon" and John Candy at http://surf-designplanet.blogspot.com/2008/07/surf-design-planet-blurp-no27.html

Very good and feeling rundown of John Candy.  "Canadian Bacon" was his last film, and maybe not his best, but I love the concept and how it is played so straight.

Shame on all who side with Michael Moore and other low-life liberals and democraps and are giddy about a catastrophic hurricane hitting anywhere, regardless of whether it's landfall happens to coincide with the opposition's gathering (i.e., Republican National Convention).  Shame on you!

NOBODIES being giddy about a hurricane!

Shame on evangelical frauds who lie to their flock for their own monetary gain.

Shame on those who stand deer-eyed and paralyzed doing nothing when action is called for and they are  supposedly the leaders.

Shame on those propagate the lies of hatred, race and bigotry, driving wedges of division into our country.

Shame on those who call themselves Christians and shepherds who use the same type of arguments as extreme Muslim clerics to keep the believers in line.

Shame.

Thanks for the flag.  Moore has that effect on many and the opposite on some.

dunkelberg, I like this story. It's good stuff.

It has been said, 'Be careful what you pray for - you might just get it' ...

Another one which comes to mind here is, 'Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge' ... not really sure I buy that one though ... ahem ...

Great article!

Thanks, Dunk. A lot of good thoughts in your article, the Moore quote, and the succeeding comments.  I'm one evengelical who is moving to the left with every step I take.  Enough is enough.
