Open Letter To Obama From Tribal Areas
This is a letter from a small kid, who lost his both parents in the mad war on terrorism launched by former US president George W. Bush.
Dear Barack Obama,
President of the United States,
I am writing this letter to you with the hope you will certainly give me the reply. Some eight years ago I was leading a normal life as at that time my both father and mother were alive. Then all of sudden the thing changed. Terrorists have carried out a big attack in the United States, which have also changed our lives. Believe me niether my mother nor my father have any hand on the attack in the United States. The US launched the war on terrorism without taking the people of tribal areas situated on Pak-Afghan border. Thousands have been killed in the fighting. My school has been destroyed. I have been denied the chance of getting education. Later, when the security forces of Pakistan have launched an operation against the terrorists I have lost both my parents. Now I am living in the refugee camp having no food and cloth.
After your victory now we have the expectation that there will be change in my life as well. Now you will certainly take step for solving my problem. Now you will order the government of Pakistan to rebuild the schools destroyed by the terrorists and security forces. Now you will play the role of a mother of thousands of children, who have lost their parents and homes in the made war on terrorism.
My dear sir, I am certain you will come to my help as I consider you the savoir of humanity. God the Great has given you the chance to do good. You will certainly do something for restoration of confidence of thousands of children. Now you will be the father of thousands of children, who lost their parents in the war on terrorism.
On behalf of thousands of children I assure you that we will be praying for your success in your mission. We will be praying for the peace and prosperity of whole humanty. Now we will be praying that no children weep due to the murder of their parents. We pray for peace and prosperity.
Thank you very much
Yours sincerely
An affected child,
Khar, Bajaur Agency,
Tribal areas Pakistan
