Operation against Taliban has begun, Lal Qila under control

Military operation against Taliban, in the frontier areas of Pakistan, has begun. According to ISPR (Inter Services Public Relations) press release, Lal Qila in Lower Dir has been fully secured and is now under complete control of Frontier Constabulary (FC), a corp of Pakistan Army. Natives of Dir are very happy with the Amy's recent operation and have assured full support in fighting the miscreants.
Security forces have seized control of the Lal Qila after fierce gunbatlle with militants in an ongoing operation in Lower Dir on Sunday.
According to sources, security forces have entered the Lal Qila.
On the other hand, intense firing is underway between militants and FC troops at Kala Daag and Islam Pura.
Meanwhile, ISPR said in a statement that Frontier Corps have launched operation against militants in Dir on the request of the provincial government and people.
Earlier in the day, security forces targeted suspected militants’ hideouts situated in Lal Qila and Islam Pura, killing a large number of militants, including a top commander.
While one security personnel was also martyred in the operation.

the Taliban are defying the government. saying they will take Peshawar next.
Good luck to the Frontier Corps! They seem to be doing a better job than the army.

They can't, if they will try then they are gone. For your information, FC (Frontier Constabulary) is just a side-force of Pakistan Army, the main force of Pakistan Army ie the world's 7th largest military force exhibits all the competences required to wash-out these idiots (the Taliban) from the face of the earth. But, the only barrier is the populace of Tribal Areas, they want the recently made peace accord to prevail and they are of the view that military option must be exercised as a last resort.
