Opinion-Congress Cure for Energy is Less Demand

Some in Congress have a master plan for the energy crisis,  less demand. That is the Big Obama plan. Some in Congress are even showing their Chavista side by openly suggesting we nationalize the oil business. I thought they were progressives? What is the hatred that some have against the oil companies? They make money? They make too much money? Maybe it’s the fact that they can’t control them? Obama has embarked on a new economic theory. The new theory works like this- If a private commodity is in high demand and short supply and American business and citizens need that commodity to survive and grow, we will not increase supply, no, America will fix it by forcing  people to demand less of that commodity …Let me think were I have seen that theory in practice. Cuba maybe?

So the Dems have invented a concept better than supply and demand. They prefer low-supply and no- demand,  Sounds groundbreaking.  The goal would be to force Americans to only drive Government approved cars or products. That is one of the biggest losses of freedoms Americans may be subjected to. We can do the same with sugar, if the price of sugar goes up and the demand also goes up why make more sugar? Instead we can ration how many ounces each American will be  blessed with on a monthly basis. Wow makes one look foward to the future.

The people who own the oil companies are teachers, firemen, policemen, us…These are public companies and like all companies will pass the tax on to us the people. And if they get a hair up their asses the oil companies will choke the supply and we will be back to 1978 when we were sleeping in our cars just so we would have less than a 5 hour wait for gas. Remember those days. Well all those smart young voters who can’t wait to vote for Obama should read some history. Just look up Jimmy Carter.

How long will it take for America to open their eyes and see the politicians who can not run their own lunch rooms, plan their future with the main goal being the wholesale destruction of the free market.

Americans may find themselves in a very bad place if we are counting on the idiot vote. If what we saw in Palm Beach, Fl. was a sample of the future voters of America we are in big trouble. These people in Palm Beach represent millions of Americans. They are not qualified to vote but they will. All you need to vote is citizenship not be a felon and breathing. In America you can be a total idiot with no clue and you can still vote. What do we do when the clueless outnumber the informed?
